Rapido, India’s leading bike taxi platform, announced the launch of its innovative initiative, “Auto Dost,” aimed at providing exceptional support to local auto drivers. Additionally, Rapido has introduced a new safety feature called “Night Rides Check” to ensure the well-being of riders travelling between 10 pm and 6 am.

The company aims to empower local auto drivers by offering a range of benefits under the Auto Dost program. This includes a commission of less than Rs. 15 on every order, unlimited cancellations with a fee of Rs. 10, pickup charges of Rs. 10 on each ride, and a dedicated captain support center for quick query resolution.

Rapido said it recognizes the vital role played by auto drivers in delivering reliable transportation services to riders across the city. By introducing the Auto Dost initiative, Rapido aims to establish itself as a competitive differentiator in the market by providing exceptional support to its auto captains. The company is committed to continuously enhancing the benefits offered to captains, ensuring their satisfaction and success.

In addition to the Auto Dost program, Rapido has also introduced a new safety feature called “Night Rides Check.” This feature is designed to ensure the well-being of riders traveling between 10 pm and 6 am. After completing their ride, riders will receive a safety check call from the Rapido call center, adding an extra layer of security during late-night journeys.

Pavan Guntupalli, Co-founder of Rapido, expressed his gratitude towards the driver-partners who contribute to the company’s success. He emphasized the importance of fostering a supportive ecosystem for auto captains while prioritizing rider safety.

“Our Rapido Captains are the backbone of our business, and we are grateful for their hard work and dedication. They have been instrumental in making Rapido a household name in Bengaluru and we are proud of their achievements. We believe in fostering a supportive ecosystem for our auto captains while prioritizing the safety of our riders,” he said.

“The Auto Dost initiative is a testament to our commitment, launching this initiative will not only boost our captains’ morale but also improve our retention rate and the Night Rides Check feature further strengthens our efforts in providing a secure and reliable transportation experience,” he added.
