Ready to campaign for grandfather if he contests in LS: Prajwal Revanna

Hassan: Prajwal Revanna, Grandson of JDS party supremo H D Deve Gowda on Saturday, February 23 said that he is ready to take the responsibility of election campaign of his grandfather H D Deve Gowda and ensure his victory if the latter contests from Hassan in the Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing presspersons here Prajwal clarified that he is mentally prepared to contest the 2019 Lok Sabha because his grandfather had asked him to contest the 2019 Lok Sabha election from Hassan constituency. He also toured all seven taluks where he got a good response from people.
He further added that he will follow all the directions given to him by Deve Gowda and hopes that JDS wins with a margin of 5 lakh votes this time as he has done a lot of development work in his home district.
Speaking about the remarks of Hassan BJP MLA Preetam J Gowda against Deve Gowda, Prajwal said Prime Minister Narendra Modi also has high regards for Deve Gowda who never tarnished the image of any leader be it his own party or the opposition but Preetam was elected first time doesn’t have basic etiquettes on how to respect elders.
Preetham should have thought before making such statements, about Deve Gowda, he added.
