Bengaluru: Days after tendering his resignation from the assembly membership, Congress MLA from Vijayanagar Anand Singh said that he is ready to speak to chief minister Kumaraswamy after he returns from his foreign trip.

Speaking to reporters here while appearing for a court hearing in the illegal mining case, Singh said that he does not want to hold discussions with any other leader except the chief minister.

Angered by his rebellion, deputy chief minister Dr G Parameshwar said that the party will not try to appease Singh any more and he was free to take his own.

Meanwhile Assembly speaker, K R Ramesh Kumar said that Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee has not filed any complaint about Anand Singh’s resignation as reported by some media.
