Bengaluru: KPCC chief DK Shivakumar mocked the accusation by Deputy Chief Minister Ashwath Narayan by stating that the DyCM is reacting to imagined accusations by Congress.
Narayan had accused the Opposition of politicising even the floods in the State and had asked them to provide constructive advice to the government.
Shivakumar stated that nobody from the Congress even mentioned anything about the State government’s handling of the floods. However, by reacting to the supposed allegations Narayana is calling controversy on himself.
Shivakumar further stated that the KPCC has formed a team comprising of former MLAs to study the flood situation in the State. A report will be submitted detailing the relief works done by the government and what more needs to be done.
He added that some ministers have still not visited flood-affected districts and accused that DyCM Ashwath Narayan is on a mission to degrade the Chief Minister as we get to know everything that is spoken within the BJP.
