Record 34 new Covid-19 cases detected in state; tally surges to 313

Bengaluru: Karnataka recorded the largest jump in coronavirus cases on Thursday, April 16 with 34 new cases reported since the last update at 5 pm on April 15.
Of the new cases, as many as 17 cases have been detected from Belagavi district. This includes five people with a travel history to Delhi.
Seven cases have been reported from Vijayapura, five from Bengaluru city, three from Mysuru while Gadag and Kalaburagi have reported one case each.
Till date 313 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed in Karnataka including 13 deaths and 82 discharges.
