‘Red Princess’ Maria Teressa of Spain is world’s first royal to die from Covid-19

Paris: Princess Maria Theresa passed away on Friday, March 27 due to COVID-19 virus, her brother Prince Sixtus Henry of Bourbon-Parma announced. She was 86.
Theresa was born in France to Spain’s royal family Bourbon-Parma. She lived in Madrid for the most part of her life.
Known as “Red Princess” for her support for socialist ideas, Theresa survived by her brother Henry and three other siblings.
