“Reddish sky at dusk and dawn is rare wonder of nature”

Have you seen the sunsets and the sunrises from a few days recently? Amazing reddish hues. It was the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets in the entire year. What a view. Everything turns red as the sun disappears.
It is so beautiful that you want to shout and call everyone to watch it.
This phenomenon is a speciality of the last of the ‘Karthika’ sky.
This natural magnificence is attributed to the onset of winter after the end of monsoon. In February, March, April and May the sky is only mildly reddish-yellow. During September only plain yellow.
Not only that, the full moon in the Ashwija and Karthika masa has a bigger ring around it. Also, during this period the afternoon sun can be seen with a magnificent circular rainbow.
All of this is due to the atmosphere of our planet.
This magnificence is made possible by scattered sunlight in a damp atmosphere. These celestial colour palettes gave rise to many ideas in Sir CV Raman and were also partially the cause for his Nobel Prize.
These frescoes in the sky during these days will make anyone enchanted especially when watched from the beaches or the highlands of the Western Ghats.
All this beauty is only for us earthlings as no other planet has an atmosphere the same as ours. We should enjoy this beauty of colours which we will never get when we want them.
