Bengaluru: MTB Nagaraj on Friday said that he and other rebel MLAs were shocked at senior Congress leader Ramalinga Reddy’s decision to extend support to the coalition government by withdrawing his resignation following discussions with party leaders.
In a video released from Mumbai, Nagaraj stated that the rebel MLAs had held 3-4 meetings under Ramalinga Reddy’s leadership and the latter had been critical of the manner in which the Congress had treated senior party leaders and thus had decided to resign.
“Ramalinga Reddy is a good friend of mine. However his press statement on Thursday has left the other rebel MLAs in a shock,” he said.
