Reliance has introduced a new WhatsApp Order Booking Service during the lockdown. Also a dedicated JioMart WhatsApp number has been launched, and it is now taking orders for essential goods and promising availability within 48 hours. It is available in select locations on the outskirts of Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, and Kalyan.
How to order?
For using the service, a user needs to save JioMart’s number 8850008000 and send a ‘Hi’ on WhatsApp after which JioMart sends a link which redirects the users to a webpage.
The customers need to fill details like name and address before proceeding to an online grocery marketplace. The link remains valid for 30 minutes.
Once you have finalised your shopping list, you can confirm your order, after which you will be sent the address of a local store you can pick up your order from.
Orders placed by 7pm everyday will be available for pick up at your nearest ‘JioMart Kirana’ within the next two days. Orders placed on JioMart WhatsApp service cannot be changed, cancelled or modified. But, you can contact your ‘JioMart Kirana’ for any modification in order before billing.
