Remove govt insignia, tint on glasses from vehicles: Compol

Mangaluru: The city police commissioner Harsha has asked the citizens of the city to remove any insignia on their vehicles that resembles government department logo, wrong stickers and also the tint on the glasses. Mr Harsha tweeted the message on the twitter account of the city police on Aug 24.
The tweet states, “Lot of cases of wrong stickers and boards bearing resemblance to government insignia is being noticed.. appeal all citizens to remove any such boards and also illegal tinted glasses in vehicles.. a special drive soon to bring defaulters to book.”
This new initiative by the new police commissioner has been welcomed by many citizens.
