Famous film actor Prakash Rai visited the historic Kaup Mariyamma Temple on February 4 and sought the divine blessings of the Devi.
During his visit, Vasudeva Shetty, the Chairman of the Kaup Hosa Marigudi Temple Development Committee, also offered prayers at the temple on behalf of Prakash Rai.
After the temple visit, Rai, accompanied by officials, observed the ongoing restoration work and appreciated the artistic styles evident in the temple’s architecture, particularly highlighting the unique cultural aspects prevalent in South India.
