Renowned Yakshagana artist Heranjalu Rajendra Ganiga passes away at 41

Heranjalu Rajendra Ganiga, a Yakshagana artist passed away on Thursday, September 21, at a private hospital in Manipal after a brief illness. He was 41 years old.

Rajendra Ganiga dedicated over two and a half decades of his life to the art of Yakshagana.  His talent graced events in Marankatte, Haladi, Soukur, Neelavara mela, and also served in the Mandarthi Mela for approximately ten years.

Rajendra Ganiga is survived by his mother and a substantial community of art enthusiasts who admired his exceptional contributions to the world of Yakshagana.
