Renowned Yakshagana artist Kadabal Udaya Hegde goes missing

Kota: Kadabal Udaya Hegde, a Yakshagana artist in the Perdur mela has reportedly disappeared. A case has been registered regarding this at the police station here.

Hegde had left for a Yakshagana performance on April 21 from his residence at Pradhan Nagar in Guddeangadi in Yadadi-Mathyadi village.

He has not returned since and is also not responding on his mobile phone.

In the police complaint, Hegde’s wife Ashwini has stated that on inquiry she found that he is not with his family and relatives living in Sirsi.

Kota police have started an investigation.
