New revelations continue to surface daily in the Renuka Swamy murder case in Chitradurga, with significant evidence emerging from the mobile phones of actor Darshan, Pavithra Gowda, and other accused.
During the investigation, police retrieved crucial data, including conversations, photos, and messages related to the murder from the mobile phones of the accused. It has been revealed that right after the murder, actor Darshan called Pavithra, instructing her to deny any knowledge of the incident if questioned by the police, advising her to remain silent on all other matters.
Further investigations by the police revealed that Darshan had strategized with other accused individuals to ensure that his and Pavithra’s names were not dragged into the case.
From Pavithra’s phone, police discovered 65 photos, 17 screenshots, and 20 obscene messages sent by Renuka Swamy. Additionally, Darshan’s WhatsApp chats with Pavithra have been obtained by the police. Of the three phones Pavithra used, one has been retrieved. It is suspected that she erased some content by flashing another phone. The remaining two phones have been sent to the FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory) in another state for data retrieval.
More evidence has also been uncovered. On the mobile of accused Vinay, 10 photos related to the murder were found. Deepak’s phone contained 30 audio conversations about the murder. Police have also traced WhatsApp calls between Darshan, Vinay, and Nagraj, revealing that Darshan had made 32 WhatsApp calls to them between June 8 and 11, and another 10 calls to Pradosh.
The investigation continues as authorities gather more information to unravel the full extent of the case.
