Ballari: Actor Darshan, who is currently in jail is undergoing a series of medical examinations after suffering from severe back pain.
After being examined by an orthopedic specialist last week, he is now being evaluated by neurosurgeon Dr. Vishwanath.
Darshan was taken to VIMS Hospital in Ballari for further tests after complaining of persistent back pain. The orthopedic doctor had conducted an initial examination, but a neurosurgeon was required to review the case before finalizing the medical report.
Once Dr. Vishwanath completes his assessment, the orthopedic team will submit a full report on Darshan’s back condition.
Based on the findings, a decision will be made regarding his possible transfer to a hospital in Bengaluru for advanced treatment, further scanning, or surgery.
However, the final call will be taken after the court receives the medical report and grants permission for the transfer, should it be deemed necessary for his treatment.
