The Karnataka High Court on Thursday adjourned the hearing into the bail petition of Pavithra Gowda, the primary accused (A1) in the Renukaswamy murder case, and others to November 21. Along with Gowda, accused Anukumar, Lakshman, and Nagaraj also sought bail.
The case was heard before Justice Vishwajith’s bench. During the hearing, the defense attorneys representing Lakshman, Nagaraj, and the other co-accused requested additional time for presenting their arguments, leading the court to adjourn the hearing to November 21.
In a related development, Darshan, who is listed as the second accused (A2) in the case, was recently granted interim bail by the High Court on medical grounds. Darshan had been admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru due to severe back pain, and medical examinations indicated surgery might be necessary.
However, reports suggest that Darshan has opted to delay the surgery for now. His medical report has already been submitted to the court for further reference.
