Mangaluru: The state government has announced the reservation criteria for the posts of presidents and vice presidents of the urban local bodies. The results of the ULB elections, held on August 31, was announced on September 3.
The reservation criterion is as tabled below:
Meanwhile, the reservation criteria for Mangaluru City Corporation too was announced. As per the announcement, the city’s next Mayor would be from backward class A category while for vice president post it will be a woman candidate from general category.
