Hubballi: The Public Works Department minister HD Revanna on Wednesday, December 19 instructed the PWD officials to change the seating of a meeting hall at the circuit house as per Vaastu.
Revanna had visited the circuit house here and held a meeting with local leaders and officials from the administration on Wednesday, December 19, while leaving the meeting Revanna said that seating space was facing East and he asked to make it West-facing.
As per Revanna’s wish, the PWD officials ordered workers to get the seating arrangement done, informed sources.
The meeting hall had a U-shaped seating arrangement and five chairs are placed for important guests to address the meeting. After the changes, the entire arrangement was reversed, informed sources.
On Friday, December 21 Chief Minister Kumaraswamy is expected to visit Hubballi for a function and he may address media and officials at circuit house.
It may be recalled that Revanna had advised his brother Kumaraswamy against staying in the circuit house in Belagavi as it did not meet the Vaastu standards.
