Revolt RV 400, RV 300 e-bikes launched in India

Revolt Motors has launched the RV 400 and RV 300 e-bikes in India with a unique monthly payment plan. For the RV 300, the plan starts at Rs.2,999 per month (for 37 months) and the plan for the RV 400 standard variant starts at Rs.3,499 and Rs.3,999 (for 37 months) for the premium variant.
The Revolt RV 400 is a smart motorcycle holding a range of connected features that include an embedded 4G LTE SIM and Bluetooth connectivity. RV 400 offers the riders to start it remotely through their smartphone. It also supports voice commands for starting the motor. The bike is based on the AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology, which helps in improving the battery performance as per the riding style and also will calculate the real-time battery consumption, range, distance travelled, time taken, and more.
The RV 400 features a compact design with LED headlamps and a fully-digital instrument cluster. It gets powered by an imported 3.24kW lithium-ion battery and motor that offers an ARAI certified range of 156kms. The top speed of the bike has been limited to 85kmph. Revolt has also offered the bike with an option of four artificial exhaust notes.
In terms of equipment, the RV 400 features disc brakes at both ends, a bolt-on subframe, inverted front forks and a monoshock rear suspension. It is available in two colour options including Cosmic Black and Rebel Red.
Coming to the RV 300, it is the entry-level model of Revolt that gets powered by a smaller 1.5kW hub-mounted motor. On a single charge, the e-bike will offer a claimed range of 180 kilometres, whereas in Normal and Sport mode, it manages to offer 110km and 80km respectively. The top-speed is 65kmph, which is slightly lower than the RV 400. In comparison with the RV 400 with a kerb weight of 101kg, the RV 300 weighs down 7kg at 94kg. Also, its wheelbase measures 30mm shorter at 1,350mm than the RV 400.
