Rickshaw drivers assault another at Panambur beach; case filed

Panambur: Panambur police have registered a case against the local rickshaw drivers for allegedly assaulting a Mangaluru-based rickshaw driver here on Thursday.

The victim has been identified as Muhammad Arafat.

On Thursday, Arafat, a rickshaw driver from Mangaluru dropped a passenger near Panambur Beach and parked at the auto stand. At that time, the local rickshaw drivers objected to this. As things escalated the local rickshaw drivers allegedly attacked Arafat.

A case has been registered in Panambur police station regarding the incident.
