1.Rishi Kapoor was just 21 when he made his debut as a lead actor with ‘Bobby’ in 1973. The film became extremely popular among youngsters.

2. Rishi Kapoor has been a part of an English film ‘Don’t Stop Dreaming’. It was directed by Shammi Kapoor’s son Aditya Raj Kapoor.

3.After winning the Filmfare award for best debut in Bobby, he did not win another Filmfare for 25 years. The next one was for completing twenty five years in the industry.

4.Rishi Kapoor’s wife Neetu Singh hated him because he used to constantly play pranks on her. It is said that on the sets of Amar Akbar Anthony, he smeared kajal on her face, forcing her to redo her make-up.

5.Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh’s families were not in favour of their marriage. But Rishi Kapoor’s determination to spend the rest of his life with Neetu Singh was high and finally, both the families agreed for their marriage.

6.‘Mera Naam Joker’ was not Rishi Kapoor’s first experience with the camera. He also featured in the song ‘Pyaar Hua Ikraar Hua’ from ‘Shri 420’ as a toddler.

7.Rishi Kapoor won a national award for his debut movie “Mera Naam Joker” as a child artist.

8.Rishi Kapoor paired up with Dimple Kapadia for his first film ‘Bobby’. As many media reports claim, Dimple married actor Rajesh Khanna after breaking up with Rishi.

9.Rishi Kapoor’s last film as a romantic hero was ‘Karobaar: The Business of Love’, which had a delayed release in 2000.

10.Rishi Kapoor tried his luck in direction with Aishwarya Rai and Akshaye Khanna starrer ‘Aa Ab Laut Chalen’ in 1999. However, the film failed to attain commercial success.
