Robbing one’s own home, women meets lover’s needs

Bengaluru: Love is an intoxication that drives the partners to do crazy things to any extent to just to make their partner happy. On similar lines, a lady from Rajkot went a step further and committed robbery at her own home, just to meet the desire of her lover. The lady robbed her parental home and made off with cash and gold jewellery worth around Rs 1 crore. But the misadventure was short lived as the duo from Gujarat have been arrested from the city.

Love and its requirement

Kishore Prasana is an entrepreneur based in Rajkot, Gujarat, and his daughter Priyanka (20) was in love with Het Sha. The boy wanted to become a pilot but lacked the finances to join the pilot training academy in the city and fulfill his dream. He had disclosed his predicament to Priyanka.

The Crime

Deep in love, Priyanka decided to help her lover. She committed robbery in her own house when no one else was around and made off with three kilograms of gold jewellery, two kg silver ornaments and Rs 64,000 in cash found at her home. To complete the illusion of a crime by robbers, she strews the things all around.

The complaint and arrest

When the family members returned, they discovered of the robbery and lodged a complaint with the police. The shrewd police investigated the case from different angles and zeroed in on the culprit. Accordingly, the Rajkot police arrived in the city and took into custody Het and Priyanka. They also recovered the gold and cash Priyanka had stolen.

The parent’s shocked by the turn of events are now said to have decided to withdraw the complaint.
