Bengaluru: A war on social media sparked between two All India Service officers of the Karnataka Cadre, following IPS officer D Roopa Shared IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri’s private photos in various poses on social media with serious allegations.

D Roopa shared the private pictures of Sindhuri on her facebook account and said “These types of pictures may seem normal. But, what does it mean when a female IAS officer often gives these and many such pics one to one to not one, not two, three male IAS officers? It will not be her private matter, it is a crime according to IAS SERVICE CONDUCT RULES. Any investigative agency can also investigate the authenticity of these pics. Picture of getting a haircut in a salon, and posing by lying down with a pillow – It may seem normal to some. The sent context speaks otherwise,” she alleged.

In another Facebook post, Roopa alleged that Sindhuri negotiating with MLA Sa Ra Mahesh in itself was a contravention of service rules and added that ” Inquiry Officer Ravishankar IAS has proved in the preliminary inquiry that it was wrong to build a swimming pool with public money in the house of DC Mysore, in the heritage building that too during corona time. Will Rohini be punished for this? Those who have to answer should answer this much.”

Meanwhile, Sindhuri said that D. Roopa is behaving as if she has lost her mental balance. She dismissed the allegations made by Roopa as “baseless.” She alleged that the allegations were made to grab the attention of the media with the intention t defame her. “I will take legal action under IPC sections and file a complaint before the competent authority against personal abuse and defamation,” she said.

In retaliation, Roopa accepted the challenge by Sindhuri and wrote: “Ok, Bring it on! Let the whole truth be bare before the public.”
