Ronaldo’s Coca Cola snub at Euro 2020 leads to a meme fest

A meme fest sparked off on the internet after Cristiano Ronaldo set aside two glass bottles of Coca-Cola placed in front of him at a Euro 2020 press conference and held up a bottle of water instead. This one gesture of Ronaldo saw the market value of Coca-cola drop by $4 billion.

Notably, Coca Cola is one of the official sponsors of Euro 2020.

Ronaldo, who arrived at the pre-match presser held up a bottle of water encouraging others to drink water while moving aside the Cola bottles.

Netizens were quick to react to Ronaldo’s action and flooded the internet with memes and hilarious jokes.
