Rowdy arrested by Ullal Police

Mangaluru: Rowdy Rameez aka Tea Rameez from here was arrested at Masthikatte by Ullal Police on Monday.
Rameez was wanted in many cases and has many cases registered against him. He was absconding since long and police were on a lookout for him.
Rameez faces three cases of robbery and theft in Ullal station, the police said.
The Police have recovered a golden chain from Rameez which happens to be the one he had earlier stolen from Pushpa Reddy, a resident from the city.
On being produced in the court, he was remanded to 15 days judicial custody. The operation to find out and arrest the accused was undertaken under the leadership of the city (south) assistant commissioner of police, K Rama Rao, under the guidance of deputy commissioners of police, Hanumantharaya and Uma Prashanth, and as per the directions of city police commissioner, T R Suresh. Police inspector, Gopikrishna K R, was accompanied in the operation by police sub-inspectors, Vinayak Toragal, assistant sub-inspector, Vijayaraj, and others.
