Mangaluru: Quick action by a head constable of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) stationed at Mangaluru Junction, saved the life of a passenger who fell between the train and platform.

The head constable, identified as M. Raghavan, pulled the passenger from being sucked onto the train track.

The incident occurred on August 18, 2024, at around 9:35 PM when Train No. 16346 Netravathi Express, was departing from Platform No. 1 at Mangaluru Junction. The passenger, identified later as Sasang, was attempting to board the moving train but lost his balance and fell into the gap between the train and the platform.
