Rs. 1 lakh reward for police team: UTK

Mangaluru: A reward of Rs. 1 lakh to the police team that arrested the accused in the Thota Bengre gang rape case has been announced by the district in-charge minister U.T. Khader on Wednesday November 28th.
In a statement, the minister said that the reward money will be collected from people and handed over to the police team. He lauded the police for taking the initiative to register a case and arrest the accused at the earliest.
Suitable compensation will be provided to the victim by the government, informed Mr Khader.
