Rs 10 crores released for development of Jog Falls: B Y Raghavendra

Shimoga: MP B Y Raghavendra stated that the government has already released Rs 10 crore for other development projects at Jog Falls.
He added that the tender process for the projects will take place soon.
He further stated that a first of a kind zipline will be constructed from KPC Tourist House to Rani Falls at a cost of Rs 80 lakhs. This zipline will be a great puller for adventure sports enthusiasts.
Additionally, a biosphere park on the model of Mysuru’s Butterfly Park is also being planned. This park could come upon a three-acre plot of the Sahyadri Heritage Development Authority at Gajanur, he added.
