Karkala: In a case of broad daylight theft reported from Kabettu junction here, unidentified miscreants decamped with Rs 2 lakh cash from a parked car on Saturday, March 7.
It is gathered that the car owner Malini had withdrawn Rs 2 lakh cash from Syndicate Bank, Kabettu junction branch and on the way home she stopped at a general store for purchasing some items. Noticing that the window of her car was open, the thieves decamped with Rs 2 lakh cash which Malini had left in the car itself.
The police suspect that the miscreants might have followed her from the bank.
