Bengaluru: The BJP has issued a legal notice to Congress leaders Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar for harming the party’s reputation by alleging irregularities in Covid-19 management.

Speaking at a press conference on Friday here BJP leaders Ravikumar and Ashwaththa Narayana demanded that Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar issue a public apology within 15 days for making false accusations against the state government. In failure to do so, we will take suitable legal action.

The Congress had last week accused the state government of irregularities in Covid-19 management to the tune of Rs 2000 crore and demanded a judicial inquiry by a sitting High Court judge.
