Rs 25 cr granted for building Rajakaluve walls in Mangaluru, announces MLA Kamath

Mangaluru: MLA Vedavyas Kamath announced that the State government has released Rs 25 crores for the construction of the Rajakaluve (master drains) walls in the city.

Kamath said that the funds were released after his petition and discussion with Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa seeking grants for the same.

Kamath added that more funds have been requested for various other development works in the city.

Urban Development Minister Byrathi Basavaraj and Cooperation Minister ST Somashekhar were present during Kamath’s meeting with the chief minister.
