RSS functionary Nandakumar lashes out at Kerala CM

New Delhi: Senior RSS functionary J Nandakumar today hit out at Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for his remarks on the Sangh Parivar, alleging that he was trying to deflect attention from the CPI(M) sponsored violence in the state.
Vijayan had said at an event yesterday that the RSS wanted to weaken the states. They were encroaching on federalism and trying to impose a unitary structure of “Hindi, Hindu and Hindusthan”, he alleged. “I feel pity for his (Vijayan) ignorance, he has no knowledge about the facts. The RSS respects all languages and for us all languages are mother languages and national languages,” said Nandakumar, the national convenor of Prajna Pravah, an RSS think-tank.
He said that the Sangh firmly believed in the philosophy of one India and united India. “He is saying all these things to deflect the attention from violence against the RSS workers in the state sponsored by the ruling CPI(M) government,” Nandakumar alleged. There has been a surge in incidents of violence involving both the RSS and the CPI(M) in the last few months.
