Bengaluru: Amid the formation of a special legislature committee, led by senior JD(S) MLC Maritibbe Gowda, to probe into the pandemonium in the Council, BJP members HV Vishwanath and SV Rajiv Gandhi Sankanoor have resigned.
Speaking regarding the issue, HV Vishwanath said, ” It is a very shameful incident. It should be considered a special case and a high level investigation must be conducted. I was there when the scuffle happened and we have resigned in protest against the act”
