SAD delegation led by Sukhbir Singh Badal meets President Kovind over Farm Bills

A delegation of Shiromani Akali Dal led by Sukhbir Singh Badal met President Ram Nath Kovind today at 4.30 pm, over the passage of Farm Bills in the Parliament
According to HT, SAD chief Sukhbir Singh Badal said the party’s delegation requested the President to not sign on the “anti-farmer” bills that were “forcefully” passed in the Rajya Sabha. “We requested him to send back the bills to Parliament”
It is said that 12 Opposition parties have also sought time to meet Kovind over the farm bills cleared by the Rajya Sabha.
