Sagara: Tourist bus accident; Over 15 injured

Sagara: A tourist bus travelling from Mangaluru to Jog met with an accident near Aralagodu Road turn, close to Jog-Kargal in Sagara taluk, on Sunday (Dec 15). Over 15 passengers sustained serious injuries in the incident.

According to eyewitnesses, the bus overturned at the Aralagodu curve after the driver lost control. The bus was carrying approximately 55 passengers at the time of the accident.

Many of the passengers suffered severe injuries and were rushed to Kargal Hospital and Sagara Sub-Divisional Hospital for treatment.

Local residents helped transport the injured to the hospital. MLA’s personal secretary Srinivas Murthy, Municipal Council member Madhumalathi, and Lingaraju supervised the arrangements at the Sagara hospital.
