Mumbai: Superstar Salman Khan and his brother, actor Arbaaz Khan, on Monday started the shooting for their film “Dabangg 3”.
The duo, who landed in Indore on Sunday, took to Twitter to share the production details of the film, third in the “Dabangg” franchise.
The film, to be directed by choreographer-filmmaker Prabhudeva, will have Salman, 53, reprising his role of Chulbul Pandey, a Robin Hood-like cop.
“Arbaaz Khan and I have just landed in Indore where we were both born and we are going to Mandleshwar and Maheshwar to shoot for ‘Dabangg 3’ where our grandfather was posted when he was in the police force,” Salman said in a video uploaded on the microblogging site.
The first part, which released in 2010, was directed by Abhinav Kashyap and actor-producer Arbaaz turned director with part two.
“Dabangg 3” will also have Sonakshi Sinha reprising her role as Rajjo, Chulbul’s love interest.
The film is scheduled to release in December this year.
