London : Sam Smith has confirmed that he is going to drop new music on September 8. The 25-year-old musician took to Twitter to make the announcement.
He captioned the photograph, “Morning London”, which showed Smith’s picture plastered on a hoarding with ‘September 8’ visible on it. Earlier, the “Stay With Me” singer had shared a note on social media, where he thanked his fans and followers for letting him take some time off the music scene.
“First of all, I want to say thank you. Thank you for being so patient and for letting me have the past year to really escape into my mind and write music so freely. I feel so rejuvenated and have so many stories I can’t wait to tell you. “The wait is so nearly over. Something is coming very very very very soon. I am scared and excited at the same time.
I’ve poured my soul and heart into this record,” he wrote. Smith released his debut album, ‘In the Lonely Hour’ in 2014.
