Sand, Vijaya Bank, Flyover!

Kundapur: The issues gaining major attention during the upcoming election in Karavali is regarding sand, flyover and Vijaya Bank merger.
Flyover
The flyovers at Pumpwell in Mangaluru and Shastri Circle in Kundapur have remained half finished. Congress and BJP are only trading accusations against each other. Nalin tried his best to hand over the flyover to the people before the LS polls. The social media was full of trolling in this regard. Congress was repeatedly picking on this issue. In response, Nalin blamed Lobo, Ivan and MCC commissioner Ibrahim as the reason for the non-completion of the overpass. Kundapur flyover too fell prey to enough and more trolling. Shobha did not spoil her head on this. Blaming the flyover to be a work started during the time of Congress MP, she adjusted her bearing. But social media never quit criticizing.
Bank merger
Even though Vijaya Bank was a friend of the undivided DK district, it was turned into a weapon during the election time by those from DK. Congress is stating that Nalin’s silence is the reason for the merger, and that he has sold Vijaya Bank to Gujaratis. But BJP, which failed to present the reality, blame their failed attempt to name the road after Sundar Rama Shetty on Lobo and Ivan.
Sand
Due to the lack of sand availability, construction work has been delayed, job numbers have reduced and business has been affected adversely. Sand is being sold at the prices of gold in the black market. If Shobha is blaming the sand issue being faced in Udupi district on Pramod, the latter is holding the prior as completely responsible for the problem.
Both the districts have drinking water problem. Those who took out processions, padyatra, rathyatra against the implementation of Yettinahole Project and also warned of destroying the dam during the last election seem to have completely forgotten the issue this time. Congress has forgotten its assurance of providing a permanent solution to the drinking water problem plaguing Karavali.
