Bengaluru: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Bengaluru zone, on Tuesday arrested ‘Bigg Boss Kannada’ Season 6 contestant Adam Pasha under the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985.
Adam is alleged to have purchased drugs from peddler Anika D, who is a television actress and was arrested in August. He had previously stated he knew Anika but never had bought anything from her.
The NCB officials have now confirmed that Adam had allegedly purchased contraband multiple times from Anika and was in touch with her.
Pasha was produced before the special NDPS court in Bengaluru and has been remanded in NCB custody till November 3. MDMA is a banned drug under the NDPS Act.
