Sandalwood drugs case: Court rejects Ragini and Sanjjana’s bail application

Bengaluru: The NDPS court here rejected the bail application of actresses Sanjjana Galrani and Ragini Dwivedi accused in the Sandalwood drugs peddling and consumption case.

The bail application of the others accused in the case – Ravishankar, Prashant Ranka, Vaibhav Jain, Prashant Raju and Abhiswami – has been adjourned to September 30.

Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjana Galrani’s names cropped up in the investigation that was being conducted after a few drug peddlers supplying drugs to high society parties and Sandalwood stars were arrested.

Ragini was arrested on September 14 while Sanjjana was arrested on September 16.
