Sandalwood drugs case: Ragini petitions Supreme Court for bail

Bengaluru: Actress Ragini Dwivedi, who is in judicial custody along with Sanjjana Galrani, Prashant Ranka and 20 others for alleged peddling and consuming of drugs, has filed a special leave petition in the Supreme Court seeking bail.
Ragini was arrested on September 4 and has since been lodged in the city’s Central Jail.
The special NDPS Court had denied bail to the actress on September 28 after which she filed a bail petition in the Karnataka High Court on November 3 which too was denied.
A date not has been issued by the apex court yet to hear her bail application.
