Sandalwood stars groove to Coastalwood songs

Mangaluru: Tulu cinema is now not limited only to the coastal region. It has crossed the coastal border and is shining bright. Coastalwood is proud to observe that Tulu movies have entered and survived in regions which are not acquainted with Tulu language. Amidst this, another proud fact is the Sandalwood stars also are appreciating Tulu cinema.

Film stars like Shivrajkumar, Darshan and Sudeep have already appreciated Tulu movies. By taking part in the audio release of three Tulu movies, Sandalwood stars have admired Tulu cinema. It is not an exaggeration to say that this has boosted the identity of Tulu cinema.

Sooraj Shetty’s “Ammer Police” movie which is on the helm of release is also a most awaited movie in Coastalwood. The audio release of this movie has been done under wraps. What is special is that film start Darshan released the audio release of “Ammer Police” tulu movie. The audio release was conducted at a prestigious hotel in Mangaluru.

Just a few days back, film star Kichha Sudeep released the audio release on Rajesh Bhramavar produced and J.P.Taminadu directed “Katapadi Kattappe” tulu movie in Mangaluru. Sudeep had taken part in the audio release programme held at Mangaluru town hall.

“I have heard about Tulu cinema. Many artists and technicians are getting opportunity here. In future if there be a necessity, I too am interested in Tulu cinema,” said Sudeep, thereby showing his special interest in Tulu cinema. This has renewed the spirit in Tulu cinema.

A few days after this, another audio release was witnessed at the hands of a Sandalwood hero.

The audio release of Coastalwood’s much awaited tulu movie “Dagalbajilu” was done by Sandalwood’s Hattrick hero Shivrajkumar in Bengaluru.

This movies story, screenplay, dialogue, lyrics is by Suresh Anchan Moodbidri, directed by A.S.Prashant and produced by Kumble Santosh Shetty and friends.

The film being presented under the banner of Anugraha films has its music from R.D.Varman and Sandesh Babu.

Vignesh and Rashmika are the lead actors of this movie along with other including Naveen D. Padil, Arvind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Deepak Rai, Satish Bandale, Umesh Mijar and others.
