Sankeshwar: Chopped carcasses of calves found strewn near NH48

Sankeshwar: Hundreds of chopped carcasses of calves strewn on the outskirts of the district here was reported on Tuesday.
The incident reportedly took place on Sunday but came to light on March 23.
The carcasses were found on a road near National Highway 48.
Some of the pieces of calves carcasses were strewn on the road while some pieces were packed in jute sacks.
Sankeshwar police Sub Inspector Ganapati Kunganoli visited the spot and has started an investigation.
Sankeshwar town council chief Jagadish Eeti also arrived at the spot and removed the pieces of the carcasses in a town council vehicle.
