Sankeshwar: A councillor of Sankeshwar municipality was arrested on the charge of murdering a 55-year-old woman at her residence in the heart of the city
The incident occurred on Sunday, January 16. The accused has been identified as Umesh Kamble.
The deceased Shailaja alias Gauravva, 55, wife of Niranjan Subedar was shot dead by Kamble at her house.
Police claim that financial dispute between Kamble and Shailaja led to the murder.
Officials have alsoe siezed a country-made pistol from the accused
