Mysuru: Sri Sugunendra Teertha Swamiji of Udupi Puttige Matha opined that the simple yet effective Sanskrit has been a world language (vishwa bhaashe).
He was speaking on the seventh day of celebrations of the 80th birthday of Sri Ganapathy Sacchidananda Swamiji here on Saturday.
Sanskrit is the root of all languages. It is the mother tongue of all languages. It is very simple and easy to learn the language, the seer said.
On the occasion, the Puttige Sri extended an invitation to Sri Ganapathy Sacchidananda Swamiji to attend the fourth Paryaya and Kotigeeta Yajna to be held in Udupi.
During the event, the book “Script for Success” penned by the Sri Ganapathy Sacchidananda Swamiji was released.
