Sarathi-4 to make DL and LL process easier

Bengaluru: “Sarathi-4” propelled by the Union Ministry of Road Transportation will make applying for the driver’s license more transparent and online. Under the online stage “Sarathi-4”, an applicant needs to give no less than 10 correct answers to an aggregate of 15 questions online at the Screen Test Aid for Learners License (STALL) examination centre in RTO.
Tending to the media, Deputy Road Transportation Officer (RTO) Shivanand Magdum said the up-gradation under Sarathi-3 powould not be accessible from June 5 following its upgradation to Sarathi-4. The new portal will have data on all the 21 services by the RTO. The details of the services and applicable charges might be availed on https://parivahan.gov.in/parivahan. The charges for driving license could likewise be paid on http://rtoservices.karnataka.gov.in/khajane/through e-payment, he educated.
On the whole, 10 PCs have been installed at the STALL centers in the RTO at Sangolli Rayanna Circle. The candidates need to apply online for this examination on the above said interface. The required documents include PDF organization of the Date of Birth (DoB), address proof and photographs. Affirmation will be issued to the candidates. Afterward, the candidate needs to take up the examination at STALL centre controlled by the central server of New Delhi. On passing, they will be reffered to physical examination directed by the RTO authorities in Belagavi, said Magadum.
