Ullal: Sardines were found on the coastal belt around near here.

Hundreds of sardine fish washed ashore and that too alive made news and people from the neary areas rushed to the spot to collect a few.

Many found nothing strange with the fish found on the shore. The locals claim that it happened when some fish lose their way from their group only to be washed off onto the shore by the strong tides. On the other hand, a few termed it as a warning of something bad to happen.

Interestingly the incident has happened in the neighboring areas such as Mogaveerapatna, Kaiko, Kiliriyanagar and Someshwar seashore for the last few days.
