Kota: In response to not paying the salaries properly and delaying payment at Sastan toll gate, the workers here resorted to spot protest here on Thursday. Later, the protest was withdrawn following negotiations.

Vehicles passing through the toll gate were allowed to pass without any toll payment.

The protest was conducted opposing the inordinate delay in salary payment and no clarity regarding the PF. A similar protest was held last month as well.

The protest was withdrawn after a whole hour-and-a-half. The protest was withdrawn based on the assurances that the inordinately delayed salaries would be paid within 4 pm in the evening today.

Talapady

Meanwhile, in the backdrop of the sudden protest at Sastan tollgate, toll collection at Talapady toll gate was however, not stopped. No protests were also held there.
