Belagavi: The enraged followers of MLA Satish Jarkiholi went out of control in the city and scoured the Congress office at Club Road. They were upset against the party’s decision to exclude their leader in the recently framed cabinet of the coalition government in the state.

In another episode, stones were pelted at the NWKRTC bus, harming the windows of the bus near CBT. The police then managed scattered the group.

Prior in the day, angry supporters of Satish Jarkiholi under the initiative of Manava Bhahutva Vedike arranged a dissent at the Rani Chennamma Circle. From here they walked towards the Congress office at Club Road. The circumstance, in any case, turned violent at the office as the protesters ransacked the party office, sources said. The mob professedly harmed the furniture, pots, and glasses at the office and tore down Congress party banners.
