Patna: Satyapal Malik takes oath as the governor of Bihar in Patna
Prior to this, he was the member of the Lok Sabha and represented Aligarh Constituency from 1989 to 1991. He was member of Rajya sabha from Uttar Pradesh during two terms of 1980-86 and 1986-1992. He was also member of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly during 1974-77.
Malik is a former parliamentarian and BJP’s national vice President. He was elected as governor in September this year after the post fell vacant as Ram Nath Kovind was elected as President of India in July.
